Scarra Concerned About DSG

William “Scarra,” a co-founder of OfflineTV (OTV), a Twitch streamer, gave his opinion on fellow OTV member Jeremy “Disguised Toast’s” professional Valorant esports squad, DSG, on April 30, 2023.

The content creator voiced anxiety and claimed that the company needed all the assistance it could get. The 33-year-old personality went on to discuss their most recent performance and said that their followers were evolving into haters: “Dude, I’m so worried because I feel like DSG has so many fans. But the fans are turning into haters, soon. Because, like… I guess publicity is always good.”

Scarra’s attention was called to viewers who said that 100 Thieves “was rolled” at VCT at the 1:45 hour mark on his program. The streamer was surprised to hear this and replied: “‘Rolled by DSG, right?! Right? There’s no way. Where the f**k… when does DSG play? (Fans ask the streamer when he plans on subbing in for the team) Bro, they need all the help they can get. They don’t need me, man! I am the secret weapon. I’m after yay. They need more, as much as help I can get. Oh, god!”

Scarra continued by expressing concern for Disguised and foreseeing a swift conversion of fans to detractors. He then got together with Lily “LilyPichu” and Imane “Pokimane,” asking for their perspectives on the predicament. He questioned: “Do you guys know how DSG has been playing recently, right? (Pokimane asks what Scarra meant) Umm… how do I phrase this? When they… say the alphabet (when) they can’t find the, ‘W.’ They’re going to turn it around for sure, right?”

Scarra’s assessment left Pokimane and LilyPichu speechless, with the former stating that they can only hope for the best. LilyPichu claimed that the Disguised Toast team was “doing everything right” in terms of developing a following, a brand, and a social media presence: “I feel like they do everything right. You know? Like, fanbase. The branding. The social post. You know?” 

Scarra continued by quoting Disguised Toast’s assessment of the circumstance: “(Disguised) Toast was saying, I mean, he thinks their fans can become soon.”
