Sapnap Joining NRG

Sapnap, a content creator and co-owner at NRG who is most known for his Minecraft gameplay on Twitch and YouTube, has officially joined the company.

Sapnap was a founding member of the DreamSMP Minecraft server and soon rose to prominence as a key figure in the world of Minecraft content creation. After starting his career in video creation more than two years ago, Sapnap now has more than 3.1 million Twitch followers, 4.67 million YouTube subscribers, and around 3 million Twitter followers. With other Minecrafters Karl Jacobs and GeorgeNotFound, Sapnap co-hosted the Banter podcast. Since then, he has tried to diversify his material and commercial ventures. The well-known multi-platform creator is now a co-owner and content creator for the esports group NRG.

Mark Mastrov and Andy Miller, co-owners of the Sacramento Kings, created NRG in November 2015. Later, Shaquille O’Neal, Alex Rodriguez, and other sports greats invested in the business. Since its founding, NRG has made investments in a number of esports games, fielding teams in VALORANT, Overwatch, Apex Legends, and other games. NRG has recently increased the size of its content development division by hiring notable individuals like Bucke, Clix, Willius, and others.

The day before, the esports organization hinted at Sapnap’s upcoming announcement, claiming that it will be “one of the biggest creator announcements ever.” NRG has accepted its new co-owner wholeheartedly, including displaying the creator on the page’s Twitter banner. This marks the official disclosure of the Minecrafter as a key member of the organization.

Although it is unknown exactly what Sapnap’s responsibilities as co-owner will be, viewers may anticipate seeing Sapnap in NRG video content and seeing NRG members, sponsors, and graphics in his own content.
