The Samsung Group is a South Korean multinational conglomerate headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul. It comprises numerous affiliated businesses and it also has long had ties with the video game industry. Now, Twitch rivals recently announced their new partnership With Samsung via a twitter post.

Twitch tweeted out; “We’re leveling up. Pleased to announce we’re partnering with @SamsungMobileUS, our new exclusive mobile device partner of Twitch Rivals North America. From low latency screens to long-lasting battery life, Samsung’s device line up is built for gaming.” Twitch Rivals is an online tournament series pitting streamers against one another across various games.

The deadline reported that the agreement was formalized through a Twitch Rivals broadcast held during the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 13th. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event took place recently when this mobile partnership was announced, unveiling multiple new pieces of tech including the Samsung Galaxy S21 series of smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds. Partnerships between mobile games and hardware and service providers will undoubtedly continue to crop up outside of the Samsung and Twitch Rivals.
