Riot To Add Mogul Mail Item To Teamfight Tactics

During a recent podcast appearance, Ludwig claimed that Riot Games never approached him about including Mogul’s Mail in Teamfight Tactics’ next release.

The new item, according to the streaming sensation, is a “homage” to his secondary YouTube channel, Mogul Mail, where he often publishes straight and unfiltered debates about big topics in the industry. Ludwig is probably filming the next episode of The Yard, a podcast he founded with his three roommates: Slime, Nick, and Aiden, while he isn’t preparing his next big event or streaming to thousands of viewers on YouTube Gaming. Ludwig addressed his co-hosts about Mogul’s Mail, an item that will be included to Set Seven of Teamfight Tactics, in the most recent episode of the podcast, which aired on May 26.

Ludwig revealed that the gaming firm did not inform him, but that it was “linked” to him by another source. After the shock of the reveal subsided, Ludwig’s co-host Slime humorously expressed some reservations. Slime questioned; “They stole from you. They stole from you, Ludwig. Do you get royalties for that?”

For a brief period, Ludwig laughed along with the joke, but later admitted that he thinks it’s “cool” that Riot would include an item in one of their games that may refer to his secondary YouTube channel. The 26-year-old streamer claims it’s just a coincidence, but believes it’s possible that a Teamfight Tactics developer enjoys his content. Riot has yet to confirm whether the item is truly a reference to Ludwig’s Mogul Mail channel.
