Rich Campbell Reacts To Disguised Toast’s DMCA Strike

Rich Campbell, a Twitch streamer, says that Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang got Twitch DMCA struck on purpose in order to stay “relevant.”

After Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel began viewing full episodes of MasterChef, the Twitch TV show respond meta gained popularity. Pokimane, Mizkif, and other streamers joined in as well, but Disguised Toast decided to take it to the next level.

Toast believes his fellow content creators on the network are “scared” to take chances. As a result, he decided to push the react meta even further by broadcasting whole episodes of Naruto and Death Note, which resulted in his being banned off the site. This, he claimed, was all part of his plot to discourage other streamers from following suit.

Rich Campbell responded to Toast’s description of him as “some dude [who] streamed Lord of the Rings,” giving his own view on his fellow streamer’s staged ban. Toast was streaming whole anime episodes, according to Campbell, because he was losing subscribers and needed to do something to stay relevant.

He laughed and said, “Some dude. I liked him better when he didn’t stream with his stupid ass face, bro. Look, I don’t care about him not knowing my f**king name, I don’t care about him some dudeing me, but is he literally sitting here like he’s some f**king content genius? Bro, are you f**king kidding me? I can control the narrative’? Bro you were watching f**king anime, you f**king idiot. You were watching anime because you were dramatically losing viewership and you wanted to do something relevant, man.”

Rich Campbell is one of many well-known streamers who have dipped in the Twitch react meta cookie jar, but only time will tell whether he, like Disguised Toast, will be banned.
