Pokimane’s Response To Rumors

Although 100 Thieves has recently added a slew of fresh additions to its roster, Twitch streamer Pokimane is skeptical that the organization can afford to buy out the cast of Offline TV.

Along with One True King and TSM, 100 Thieves and Offline TV are two of the top streaming organizations in the market right now. Both have a long list of extremely popular broadcasters on their rosters. Valkyrae, CouRage, and Nadeshot are among the 100 Thieves members, while Disguised Toast, Michael Reeves, and Pokimane are among the Offline TV members.

In reality, both organizations have recently expanded; 100 Thieves recently signed Will Neff, while OTV signed QuarterJade, Sydeon, and Masayoshi in its first expansion since 2019. With these rising numbers, it’s understandable that some fans might be considering a merger between the two groups — but Pokimane says that’s not an option, and even a little amusing.

Pokimane read a statement from her chat aloud during a Twitch broadcast on November 23rd. The commentator asks; “100 Thieves bought OTV?”

In response to this, Pokimane stated; “Nah, they can only buy everybody around us. Not us!”

There’s no animosity between OTV and 100 Thieves; in September, Pokimane teamed up with Valkyrae to promote her own merchandise line, and she frequently hangs out with 100 T streamers for various projects. However, Poki has been outspoken about her streaming profession in the past, praising YouTube as a viable alternative to Twitch amid Twitch’s earnings leak in October.

For the time being, it appears that OTV will remain in their own camp… but who knows who might join them next.
