Pokimane Speaks About Dating a Fan

Popular twitch streamer Imane Anys aka Pokimane has recently talked about dating a fan admitting that she would consider dating a fan only if the situation made sense for her.

Pokimane has made a name for herself as one of the top female Twitch streamers in the world. Pokimane’s relationship status has been the talk of the town for a while now. Earlier this year, she almost broke the internet after revealing that she was single. She stated that she wasn’t looking for anything.

Now, during one of her recent streams, Pokimane discussed the idea of Twitch streamers dating fans admitting that she would be open to the idea, but that it “depends on the situation.” She noted that she wouldn’t mind dating a fan at all, unlike other celebrities. Poki observed that it’s alright to have a relationship with someone who knows and appreciates her work.

She revealed how the dynamic between the streamer and the fan doesn’t matter as long as they share good chemistry. She also mentioned that she would want them to date her because they get along and not because of her popularity as she stated; “If you happen to meet someone who knows who you are, likes what you do, and you get along, and they don’t only like you because of your clout, that’s a little bit different.”

Pokimane felt that certain situations allow people to have a relationship with their ardent fans. However, in the end, she believed that situations like this mostly depend on the person. For Pokimane, it appears that dating a fan is not out of the question, but only if she met someone naturally in a situation where being a streamer wasn’t part of the equation. This means Pokimane isn’t only open to dating other popular content creators and influencers.
