Pokimane Considers New Podcast

After xQc left her hanging, Pokimane said she’s considering hiring someone else to co-host her new Twitch podcast in the short term, and Mizkif could be a likely choice. 

On Saturday, April 9, Poki and xQc were meant to conduct the first ‘trial’ edition of their new Twitch podcast. xQc, on the other hand, never showed up and left her hanging, which Poki assumed was because he forgot. Poki stated that she is willing to wait another week to make it happen. But, with so many meaty topics to discuss, she’s considering bringing on a new co-host to discuss them while they’re still fresh.

She said; “We were going to talk about the Will Smith slap. We were going to talk about /r/Place and how that was some of the best content Twitch has ever seen. There are so many things to talk about. There are infinite things. And now I’m like, ‘Do I go back to Mizkif? Do I wait for xQc and we try again maybe next week or the week after? Or do I say f**k it and DM Forsen?” 

Poki didn’t specify if he planned to replace xQc temporarily or permanently. Given that it was a concept they came up with together, it’s likely she only intended it in the short term. It will be interesting to observe how things progress. In the meantime, xQc has taken a hiatus from streaming. In reality, he hasn’t streamed since missing the podcast episode with Poki the day before, but he promised a “long-ass stream” when he returns.
