Pokimane Reveals Why She Accepted “less money” To Remain With Twitch

Pokimane recently signed a multi-year deal to remain with Twitch, explaining; “I won’t lie. These live streaming exclusivity deals mean a lot of money. It is life changing money for each of us streamers. I have received offers from many different platforms, but in the end it has dropped down to only two. In the end, I have decided to take less money and to stay on Twitch. I did a lot of research on— about everything; infrastructure, servers, delay. I hate late streaming. Chat interactions are really bad for me. I really hate long delays”.

Imane “Pokimane” Anys decided to stay on Twitch despite other companies’ offers to her. She rejected the big money offers to her by other platforms in exchange for the “less money” she got from Twitch.She explained her decision saying that she felt that Twitch is an entertaining community to follow and to be a part of and that she felt very lucky to have become what she is now.

She said that she hates delays – which she thinks many other platforms have – and she’s loving the iconic Twitch chat which other platforms don’t have and finally, she loves the Twitch community because she’s been friends with them, another thing other platforms couldn’t offer.

Those are just a few of the reasons as to why Pokimane reached her decision to remain on Twitch.
