PewDiePie is Surprised

Felix Kjellberg aka Pewdiepie, is a one of the most popular content creators on the YouTube platform. He has over 107 million subscribers. Pewdiepie is known today for his Meme Reviews where he initially got his start with games like Minecraft and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. However, while celebrating his love for Pokemon, a dedicated fan of his made a TCG collectible which was inspired by the streamer. The artist made a card with a picture of Pewdiepie on it.

During one of his recent streams on November 9th Pewdiepie reacted to the fan creation during the ‘I Asked You’ segment. The fan-made creation is full of creative details like the holographic red and black swirl background which Pewdiepie has been using as a background for years. The fan that made the Pokemon card has a username of Melodic_M and the user further explained that it was made with original Pokémon card and transparency paper.

After Pewdiepie saw the card for the first time, he excitedly exclaimed; “Hell yeah! Ah, that’s sick! Dope, I like it. Got the holographics, cool”! It clearly left the YouTube star impressed. He was floored by the custom holographic Pokemon item which featured his image on it. The fan makes both Pokemon & Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, and has made custom items featuring other YouTubers such as Gus Johnson, Joji, and H3h3. They post their creations over on Instagram.
