OTK Rift 2 LoL Tourney Pays Big Dividends For Emiru

Yesterday’s One True King (OTK) Rift 2 League of Legends tournament may have been won by Team Filian, but last night’s real winner was Emiru, who used the tournament’s organization to increase her viewership and get subscriptions.

Emiru’s channel served as the primary broadcast for OTK Rift 2 for seven and a half hours. A wide range of talent was included, with Emiru at the analyst desk alongside Ovilee May. Captain Flowers and Zirene were the shoutcasters for the occasion. Although the high-energy personalities are known for keeping things loose, the group exuded even more laid-back vibes throughout the evening to further distinguish the occasion from an LCS or Twitch Rivals broadcast, which might have stricter guidelines on professionalism or language usage.

According to Streams Charts, Emiru’s channel had an average of 23,379 viewers and a peak of 33,365 viewers with an average of 173,389 hours watched. This summer, the one time she dressed up Asmongold and Mizkif in cross-dressing cosplay, her average viewership increased. On August 23, that stream had a viewership average of 39,303, but 111,357 fewer hours were watched.

The number of subscriptions Emiru’s channel received during the evening was possibly its biggest benefit.

According to Twitch Tracker, Emiru racked up 842 subscriptions throughout the stream, including 388 gifted subs, with the help of her fellow cast members who acted as blatant shills for the channel. She now has 4,162 active subscribers thanks to the surge.

OTK and the company’s new PC construction business Starforge Systems were both prominently featured in the broadcast from WePlay Studios, and both could be seen consistently during the program.
