Ohlana Dies From Suicide

Lannia, aka Ohlana, passed away due to suicide at the age of 26. Ohlana recently had 100,000 followers on Twitch on which she plays CS: GO and IRL traveling content.

Her fans and friends became alarmed when Ohlana posted some strange tweets on her social media. Her death comes only a week after Byron Bernstein, aka Reckful, died also taking his own life.

Ohlana’s first tweet was on July 5, 2020 which stated “everyday just gets harder man.” This was followed by another tweet stating, “depressed people struggle to reach out in fear that the ones closest to them will have cops show up and forcefully confine them against their will. So they’re stuck feeling alone with their dark thoughts because they don’t want to be trapped where they just feel worse.” Then on July 6 in her last tweet, she wrote, “it’s not anybody’s fault.”

Ohlana also posted on her instagram story and it appears to be her final message before taking her own life. She stated; “I have cried, loved, and shared so many great memories with so many of you who are still or used to be in my life. I thank all of you for letting me in. I look back in awe at all of the opportunities I have been given in my life and I am appreciative. From surviving off video games to travelling the world on an impulse… but most importantly, all of the people I’ve met during this run”.

Her note ended with her telling her fans and friends; “It’s a beautiful day today. Go out and enjoy it for me.” Some of her friends and fans have paid tribute to Ohlana through posting on their social media, including her fellow streamer and collaborator Bawnsai and Nosleeptv.
