Noncompliant Paige

Saraya-Jade Bevis better known for her ring name Paige is a retired professional wrestling personality and is now one of the most popular Twitch streamers on the platform, using the username SarayaOfficial. She recently broke down during one of her streams probably because of the issue, according to Andrew Yang, that WWE is forcing performers to sign new contracts that include Twitch.

Streaming on Twitch will become a work obligation and if talent doesn’t stream they will forego earnings, be suspended or face penalties. Therefore, several WWE stars including AJ Styles, Mia Yim, Aleister Black, Zelina Vega and many more have been forced to pull their Twitch streams in the last couple of days, stating that they will not be streaming for the time being. Regardless, during one of her recent streams, she announced that she will continue to stream amidst the WWE issue.

She stated that it is good for her health and when she was announcing the news, she seemed to be in a good mood, unlike when she broke down during past streams connected to this issue. She stated that her community on Twitch had helped her when she was not able to go on wrestling due to her neck injury. Paige also noted that a new website that was in the works has been delayed and that she didn’t want to add more fuel to the fire.
