Nmplol Slams Twitch During Erobb Ban

After telling a viewer that he would fight them at TwitchCon, Erobb disclosed yesterday that he has been suspended from Twitch for 30 days.

Nick Polom didn’t hold back this morning when he had the opportunity to comment on the situation. He remarked, “Can you believe Erobb got 30 days for that? How tone-deaf is Twitch moderation? Jesus Christ.”

In gaming, veiled threats of physical harm are so frequent that they are frequently made and taken as jokes between streamers and their audience. However, there was no benefit of the doubt in reference to Erobb’s occurrence. Polom brought up the subject after reading some derogatory chatter from a fan. NMP hinted he could beat the individual up by saying he was “getting pretty strong,” but he quickly diverted by saying, “You keep talking, I might do some push-ups.”

Cyr joined the broadcast to protect his fellow One True King (OTK) member Polom after he was forced to deal with some obnoxious chatters. Cyr said, “I’ll fight you in a video game. What’s it that [Erobb] said?”

Polom responded by claiming that during the event that led to Erobb’s ban, Erobb said “something about curb stomping.” Erobb said only that he threatened to “beat up a viewer” at TwitchCon but did not elaborate on what he said that caused him to be banned. Twitch makes no comments regarding individual channel bans. Polom was one of the streamers who criticized Erobb’s ban for being an unfair application of punishment. He minimized the apparent threat by calling it a “joke” in his response on Twitter.
