Ninja Closes Deal To Stream On Twitch Once Again

Tyler Blevins, well-known for his online name Ninja, signed an exclusive deal on Twitch. Before Ninja moved over to stream exclusively on Mixer, he was really a Twitch streamer. He became so popular on the platform and was ranked as the highest followed streamer on Twitch. Now, as he returns to Twitch, he already has 15 million followers and has become just as popular as he was before.

When the Microsoft gaming platform Mixer shut down in June, it was unclear where Ninja would be streaming next; whether it would be Twitch or YouTube or Facebook gaming. At first, he streamed at Twitch without an exclusive deal. But  now he decided to sign a deal. He announced that Twitch was supportive of him all throughout the process and that Twitch understands his overall career goals. His return to Twitch is a big win for Twitch considering that Ninja is well known and that he is number one, the most followed streamer on the platform.

Ninja announced; “I really took my time deciding which platform was best for me. Twitch was very supportive throughout this process and understanding of my overall career goals. In this next chapter, I’m going to make it a point to elevate and bring more eyes to under-represented creators. I am looking forward to working with Twitch to demonstrate how this amazing community of gamers can make a meaningful impact”.
