NICKMERCS Signs Exclusively With Twitch

The war continues for streamers. Kolcheff has signed a multi-year contract with Twitch and Nick “NICKMERCS.” NICKMERCS streams exclusively on Twitch, and that will continue for the foreseeable future. The deal is exclusive so that he will only stream on Twitch in September for Fortnite and other sports. Nick comes from YouTube, and has become one of the biggest Fortnite streamers on the website.

NICKMERCS started the year as part of 100 Thieves. He was a director and co-founder of the company. There was a falling out between the player and 100 Thieves. The split seemed friendly and cooperative at first, but clearly this was not the case.

Soon afterwards, in a surprise announcement, NICKMERCS joined FaZe Clan. FaZe Clan is one of the largest esports organizations. NICKMERCS was a fantastic addition to their roster for Fortnite. He is both a producer of content, and a competitive player. Nick is a true veteran of Fortnite, and still one of the best around.

For NICKMERCS nothing has changed apart from the deal. He still streams daily on Twitch, and remains one of the platform ‘s top Fortnite streamers. Nick built a great group called “MFAM.” Activities were created by the streamer, including a cookout. In addition, in December 2018 the MFAM received over $50,000 for research into Prader-Willi syndrome.

The contract ensures that Kolcheff, who already exclusively streams on Twitch, stays faithful to the site for an indefinite period of time. With more than 3 million viewers on the site so far this year Kolcheff is the third most popular Fortnite streamer on Twitch. He ranks behind Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Turner “Tfue” Tenney, respectively, who hold first and second place.

In August, Blevins revealed that he was leaving Twitch to stream solely on Microsoft’s rival Mixer site. Tenney has recently taken a two-week streaming hiatus. This would be a blessing for Twitch to secure Kolcheff ‘s official contribution to the network. Recently, the company also secured fellow Fortnite streamer Nicholas “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony who had previously been streaming primarily via YouTube.
