Nadeshot Defending Aydan

After a Warzone 2 footage was referred to as “sus” and sparked internet debate, former Call of Duty professional Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag has defended streamer Aydan from charges of hacking.

Despite advancements with the launch of RICOCHET in December 2021, the first WZ’s whole lifespan was hampered by the ubiquity of cheating at all levels of play. Thankfully, Warzone 2 has seen significantly less hacking and cheating than its predecessor. Despite this, several well-known and skilled players continue to be accused of hacking for their gaming.

One well-known instance was that of Nadia, who endured a barrage of criticism from the public before Censor made an absurd mock proposal as the affair’s resolution. Now, “hackusations” have made their way to Aydan, a former Fortnite pro who now enjoys tremendous success streaming Warzone 2.

On social media, a video showing Aydan quickly removing a rival who was gliding was shared, prompting others to accuse him of cheating. Nadeshot, the founder of 100 Thieves and a former CoD professional, has since backed Aydan.

Nade commented on a TikTok; “This clip of Aydan’s got the comments so pressed. Aydan’s cheating, Aydan’s using a Cronus.’ Guys, this motherf**ker is flying in a straight line with his parachute out. He’s moving so slow. He started to turn as the first couple of hitmarkers start connecting but other than that, this is not a hard shot to hit.”

A Cronus is a gadget that connects scripts to a controller, giving gamers more control over recoil or the ability to shoot more quickly. They are frequently used against skilled players in hacking charges and are infamously difficult to detect. Nadeshot added; “It’s Call of Duty man, this game has been the same way for years. Yeah Warzone 2 time to kill is a little faster, aim assist is a little broken. It’s [always] been this way, we gotta stop having the same conversations.”

Although Aydan hasn’t addressed these exact charges, he has frequently made fun of them in the past, joking that he is going live with cheaters and other jabs.
