MrBeast Followed By A Paparazzi

MrBeast, a YouTube sensation, turned the tables on paparazzi who had followed him to an evening dinner date – and in the process, he ended up criticizing their YouTube channel.

The paparazzi appear to be an unavoidable part of a celebrity’s life. Things haven’t changed much over the years, except that the paps’ list of celebrities to follow has grown to include internet celebrities and social media influencers. On social media, paparazzi have carved out a niche for themselves. The Hollywood Fix and The Daily Stardust, for example, have large followers on YouTube and Instagram, where they provide celebrity and influencer interviews.

The creator of the Daily Stardust account recently ran across YouTube sensation Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson while out to dinner in Los Angeles. Rather immediately dismissing the photographer, Donaldson struck up a friendly dialogue with him, asking him a variety of questions about the business and even inquiring about the rumored “network” of photographers in the region. The Daily Stardust responded that they and other paparazzi cover a wide range of locales across California, and that they are even given advance notice of certain celebrities’ whereabouts. They did acknowledge, however, that they frequent celebrity locations in the hopes of snapping a few photos.

The section of the conversation where Stardust asked MrBeast for advice on his YouTube channel was perhaps the most amusing. Donaldson was blunt in his criticism, stating, “Your thumbnails could be a lot better.”

He also looked to be considering inviting paparazzi to participate in his high-stakes challenge videos, though it’s unclear whether this would actually happen.

Donaldson said he was in the region to shoot a video, but he wouldn’t say what the upcoming project is. He hasn’t uploaded in three weeks, leaving followers eager to see what his next big project will be… though it’s unlikely to feature paparazzi this time.
