Mizkif Speaks About ‘W Community’

Mizkif, a Twitch streamer, asserted that because to the extreme factionalism among creators, traditional Twitch streamers, known as the “Poggers community,” are actively losing out to the “W community.”

The W community is a loose association of Twitch broadcasters who primarily started broadcasting at the same time and who frequently draw from the same audience. Several streamers, including Adin Ross, YourRage, Kai Cenat, Jidion, and others, identify as part of this group. Undoubtedly, this group of streamers has excelled on Twitch, with Kai Cenat standing out as the second-most subscribed streamer. Mizkif reflected on the nature of Twitch streamers after a disagreement with fellow streamer xQc in which the two exchanged arguments on a number of different topics. The developer attributed the demise of traditional Twitch streamers to their propensity to form clichés and engage in interpersonal conflict, whereas he believes the W community to be much more unified.

Mizkif said in reference to his sporadic clashes with xQc; “I don’t want problems. I want everyone to like everybody in our industry. Is that a crazy idea that have? That we all could just like each other. That’s why the W community is doing so fucking well. We’re suffering because we don’t get along. We have our own quadrants now.”

In his recent tirade against streamers near his own community, xQc clashed with Mizkif only a few days after trading blows with Hasan, highlighting the apparent divide among the more established streamer community.

Although Mizkif bemoans the fact that creators are no longer as cooperative and considerate of one another, the continuous issues between him and xQc may be a hint that this rift may last for some time.
