Mizkif Says That There Will Be Changes To The Future OTK Events

One True King (OTK) was criticized earlier this week for their “Friendsgiving” event, in which Malena tried to give Team Envy content creator Minx alcohol despite Minx claiming to be on oxycodone medication at the time.  After that, Esfand tried to keep Minx from drinking the alcohol in order to keep her from mixing it with her prescription. However, this sparked a significant outcry from fans in all directions.

Esfand was criticized for being an overprotective “simp” when Minx claimed that using oxy was a “joke,” while Minx was chastised for her ill-tasted “joke.”  

As a result, OTK co-founder Mizkif decided to prohibit alcohol at all future OTK events in order to avoid future such accidents. Now, Mizkif stated on his most recent Twitch Broadcast on November 25th that “the alcohol is not beneficial” and that if certain streams require it to be amusing, they aren’t entertaining at all. He stated; “If you can’t be entertaining without alcohol, then you’re not entertaining. Right? And that doesn’t just go for me; that goes for all of us.”

The Twitch star then went on to say that if OTK wants to be a good organization, it needs to “step the f***k up” and “stop being p*ssies. He added; “If you can’t be funny and you need alcohol for everything, then we might as well take an RV to Hollywood Boulevard.”

Mizkif announced the organization’s collective decision to prohibit alcohol consumption at future OTK events after a brief pause. 

Fans have conflicting reactions to Mizkif’s announcement, with some claiming that his move will not prevent streamers from becoming intoxicated before entering the event. Furthermore, while Mizkif did not name any specific streams, we believe we know who he is referring to.
