Mizkif Is Mysteriously Kicked Out

TwitchCon is already underway, marking the first time in the past two years that the well-known Twitch event has been held in two distinct venues.

The event, which is still going on in Amsterdam, has welcomed a number of well-known streamers, including Pokimane, Karl Jacobs, and others. On a recent livestream, Mizkif reported that he was unexpectedly ejected from the TwitchCon venue.

A Twitch representative, according to Mizkif, was also present when the incident occurred, but they did little more than encourage the cops to withdraw the streamer from the location.

Mizkif revealed that he had been expelled from TwitchCon by police during a recent livestream. He described how the event occurred, saying that two police officers abruptly approached him and demanded that he leave the TwitchCon grounds immediately. Unfortunately, the local Twitch personnel did not offer the streamer any assistance either. He said; “One of the Twitch staff, who I don’t even think works there anymore, grabbed my Twitch badge and said it’s fake. He said I’m not a Twitch partner, it’s all fake, it’s not real, and kicked me out of there.”

Mizkif went on to state that he made every effort to explain that he was a Twitch partner and that all of his friends also made an effort to assist him, but to no avail. He was ultimately expelled from the TwitchCon venue because he was unable to show that he was a legitimate Twitch partner and not a fake to the police and Twitch officials.

Fans of the streamers were understandably upset by this episode since they saw it as yet another instance of Twitch staff misusing their authority. Others, however, said that actions like these were to blame for streamers’ migration away from Twitch and toward YouTube and other sites. “And people wonder why all twitch streamers are slowly moving to YT”

Mizkif expressed his reservations about attending TwitchCon 2022 back in February of this year. He claimed that when he and xQc had previously visited the well-known event, xQc was surrounded by fans at all times. The OTK streamer added that since then, they had both become more well-known, and as a result, more people would approach them, making the entire area extremely constricting for them. He had said that if he could be confident he would have enough security, he wouldn’t mind going to the event.
