Mizkif Breaks Silence

Mizkif has apologized for his “tone-deaf” comeback live from early October in a YouTube video after being reinstated to active duty with the gaming group OTK (a reinstatement that does not include board privileges).

No concrete evidence was uncovered against the Twitch star in the OTK inquiry into whether Mizkif tried to conceal CrazySlick’s sexual assault charges against a fellow broadcaster and roommate on December 31. Due to his comeback stream on October 11, Mizkif rejoined OTK as a member but had his board responsibilities revoked and was placed on “monitored probation.”

Mizkif made several comments about sexual assault during this stream that many people perceived as “tone-deaf,” including watching the YouTube video “Sexual Harassment is Illegal” and making jokes about his alleged cover-up. After the conclusion of the OTK probe and that now-famous broadcast, Mizkif has returned to YouTube to apologize for his “embarrassing comeback stream.”

Mizkif said; “My behavior on that stream was absolutely unacceptable. I communicated almost everything terribly and I was completely tone-deaf to such a serious situation. And I’m so sorry for how I acted, it was completely insensitive. I want to be better, not only for myself but for my audience and I want my influence on this world to be positive and I don’t want anybody to deem the way I acted in that first stream as acceptable or ok. Because it was not.”

After offering his fans an apology, the celebrity promised to treat them with “better behavior and content” rather than just telling them he would behave differently in the future. The Twitch celebrity adds that any resentment you may have for him is “completely” understandable.

The feedback on Mizkif’s “My Apology” YouTube video was overwhelmingly positive. Many people praised the streamer for offering some apparent honest apologies without any justifications.  At the time this article was written, OTK had not yet made a comment addressing Mizkif’s apology or provided a date for when his “monitored probation” would finish.
