Ludwig Bans Dream From His Twitch Channel

Twitch streamer Ludwig has been hosting a subathon stream and because of this, he became the most subscribed streamer on twitch beating out some biggest streamers such as xQc, Pokimane and more. However, as Ludwig became uncomfortable because of the large donations, he decided to put a cap on the number of subs any viewer can give, stopping them at 100.

This means that whoever subscribes more than the cap will be going to get banned by Ludwig’s mod. On March 25, the minecraft youtuber Dream has been banned on Ludwig’s stream as Dream decided to gift a whopping 300 subs for Ludwig’s viewers. Ludwig stated during the stream warning Dream; “Dream, we have a gift cap! Dream, do not test the mods! Do not test the mods, Dream. We have a gift cap! The gift cap is to ensure that people don’t spend too much money.”

For Dream, it seems like the gifted subs and ban were all in good fun as he has been a major supporter of Ludwig’s throughout his streaming career, commenting that he deserved to be the most subscriber streamer on Twitch. After being banned on Ludwig’s stream, the hashtag #FreeDream started trending on Twitter as Dream’s fans are calling out for Ludwig to unban Dream. Of course, for Dream, money isn’t really an issue, considering the popularity of his YouTube channel – but rules are rules.
