Ludwig Addresses The Streamer Awards Victory

Ludwig, a YouTuber, talked about how winning Streamer of the Year at The Streamer Awards had become a distraction for him. He called the “shock” around him winning over xQc a “bummer.”

On March 12, the first-ever Streamer Awards were hosted in Los Angeles, California. The QTCinderella-hosted event recognized the live content creators who had the greatest impact on their industry in the previous year. Some viewers were taken aback when Ludwig Ahgren beat Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel to win the grand prize. The former Smash pro stated that the dispute over his victory has begun to detract from the event.

Many streamers predicted that xQc would win the top award during the red carpet pre-show. Even Ahgren figured he had a 2% chance of winning. When he was named Streamer of the Year, many were taken aback. Some people grew enraged, taking to social media to accuse the award of being “rigged.”

In a March 13th YouTube video, the creator addressed the outcry, revealing how unsatisfactory the conversation had been. He said; “If there is one thing I regret, it is that there is a little discourse distracting from how cool the Streamer Awards was because people were so shocked I had won at the end. Which is a bummer,”

Instead, he suggested that viewers concentrate on how much effort QTCinderella put into putting the event together. He continued; “The only thing people should be talking about is how f**king amazing the award show was,”

Ludwig also expressed his satisfaction with his triumph. “The only reason I won was because it was fan-voted. And I think that’s cool. I feel good that I’m able to win because more people who liked me voted for me. That’s all it comes down to. So thank you, guys. I appreciate you so much.”
