Lilypichu Compliment Backfires

Valkyrae was complimented on her prospective voice acting skills by Lilypichu, but the compliment backfired, leaving Valkyrae rethinking her dating life.

Lily ‘Lilypichu’ Ki and Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter are two of the most popular streamers, with millions of followers. While both streamers are known for broadcasting themselves playing video games with their friends, Lilypichu is also a musician and voice actress, most notably contributing her voice to Yoshi in ‘Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro.’ 

Like a result, it’s no surprise that Lily has a knack for detecting potential voice talent, as she did during a recent Valorant stream with Valkyrae. 

When Lily mentioned that Valkyrae could be a suitable voice actress for a certain character type, she, Rae, and a few other streamers were queued up and eager to get into the game. Unfortunately, that was not the type of person Rae was looking for. Lily stated; “Oh Rae, you’d be such a good voice actress for like, little boys,”

“Huh? What?” came the replies from their fellow streamers, prompting Pichu to explain her comment stating; “No, like, you’re voice acting — you would be a good voice actor for little boys. You sounded like a twelve-year-old boy for a second. I mean this in a complimentary manner!”

Valkyrae shot back stating; “That was my voice, Lily! I wasn’t even acting!” 

Lily replied saying; “I know! I just think there’s a tone to your voice that you could be really good at little kid voices, you know? People need that voice in a lot of animation and shows and games and stuff, you know? Oh my god, that came out so bad.” 

Although it’s evident that Lily was only trying to compliment someone, the incident made for an amusing moment among the streamers, some of whom are due to compete in the forthcoming Pros vs. Noobs Valorant Showmatch.
