IShowSpeed Is Banned From Valorant

Following the exposure of some of his toxic sexist remarks. IShowSpeed has been permanently banned from all Riot games, including Valorant. 

Darren Watkins Jr., also known as IShowSpeed or Speed, is a Youtube streamer who is 19 years old. His gaming live streams and in-game features have made him renowned. His YouTube channel has 6.98 million subscribers, while his Twitter account has around 300,000 followers. Speed has been involved in a number of incidents in the past, but this one appears to be coming back to haunt him. A video from a few months ago has just become extremely popular. Speed is verbally abusing a female player in this scene.

When this video went viral, it caught the attention of some Valorant developers. They also reported it to the appropriate authorities. Sara Dadafshar, one of the game producers, took the courageous move of permanently banning him from all Riot games. 

After all of this escalation and discussion, Speed released an apologetic video. He mentions that this video is a few months old and that he was having a bad day at the time. And how, the day after his aunt died, he was subjected to racial remarks. At the same time, he claims full responsibility for what occurred and that he has improved since then.
