IShowSpeed Dangerously Lights Fireworks Indoors

Over the past few months, Darren “IShowSpeed” has steadily moved up the YouTube rankings, and he recently surpassed the 9 million subscriber threshold. His exaggerated responses and divisive remarks have thrust him into the spotlight and gained him a sizable following.

The Ohio native even spoke with KSI during his July 4th stream, but his stream came to a disappointing conclusion. Despite several in chat imploring him to go outdoors, he eventually uncorked a sizable box of fireworks and lit one inside the room atop his bed. Fortunately, the fire contained itself to the crackers that had been left on the bed. 

Almost 140,000 individuals were watching the video at once today, demonstrating the controversial streamer’s sudden climb to prominence. The online celebrity spoke with KSI before displaying a sizable box of fireworks on his bed to the audience. “Chat, we are about to light these fireworks. Right now. Ya’ll see these bad boys? Are ya’ll ready to light these fireworks!” 

A Pikachu cracker caught his attention as he was getting ready to unpack the pyrotechnics. He had been asked to go outside during the chat, but he didn’t appear to bother. “I got a lot of fireworks right now. Let’s light the Pikachu one, ya’ll. I don’t think it’s gonna be that loud, personally.”

The Pikachu fireworks were set off by IShowSpeed, who afterwards paid the price. It was doomed from the moment it started to burn. “Alright! Pikachu!”

The wick began to glow, and the content creator—who, mind you, was completely naked—recoiling in an instant. When a firework goes off in a confined location, it’s not a good posture. He quickly leaped to his feet and then immediately began racing about yelling for his mother. The firecracker had gimmicks and stages with flame-like glitter patterns emerging from various angles. “Mom! Mom! No! Stop! Oh s**t!”

It even flew off camera at one point. The YouTuber was panicking out and called his mother nonstop. Even the remaining crackers in the box were in risk of being damaged by the flames. After a while, it died down, filling the space with smoke as his mother entered and began berating him for starting a fire. He offered this justification: “I didn’t know. I didn’t know. I thought it was the popping ones, maa.”
