Hasan Is Banned On TikTok

Popular Twitch streamer Hasan Piker has been removed from the expanding social media site TikTok as a result of “celebrating” the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Piker was able to record a tape of himself responding to the news while he was taking part in activities at the QTCinderella content creator conference, which led to his aforementioned TikTok ban. On September 8, millions of people throughout the world mourned the untimely departure of Queen Elizabeth II. As with many other public personalities, several content producers sent remarks expressing their sympathies and sorrow for the loss.

Her passing occurred while Hasan Piker, a sometimes contentious Twitch streamer, and Zoil, another broadcaster, were playing paintball during the major QTCinderella content creator event. The two Twitch streams conversed about the Queen’s movement back and forth, which prompted Hasan Piker to make some dubious remarks that quickly led to his TikTok ban.

Hasan Piker and his editor, known on Twitter as Ostonox, explained to his audience the reason he had been banned from TikTok, claiming it was because of one of the videos they had recorded and posted during the event that Twitch’s QTCinderella was hosting. Because Queen Elizabeth II is a “relic of the monarchy,” Piker said in the video that he would prefer to livestream his response to her passing with his audience than to play paintball.

When the news of her demise finally came, he started cheering. Piker pretended to smoke while stating “smoking on the Queen pack” and presented it to Zoil after making further contentious remarks regarding the historical incident. Zoil replied, “That’s my Queen,” and showed signs of distress.

Hasan Piker informed his fans that he would be absent from the platform for an unspecified period of time by posting a screenshot of his TikTok suspension along with a clever joke about the well condemned influencer Andrew Tate. The previously banned Twitch streamer was encouraged to appeal his TikTok ban after seeing a screenshot of it, but it’s presently unknown whether he has done so, how long the appeals process will be, or when he will regain access.

It’s possible that TikTok is the only social media platform to object to Hasan Piker’s remarks regarding the Queen given that the well-known livestreamer is still available on other websites including Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitch.

Some Twitch users questioned why Hasan Piker was celebrating the death of Queen Elizabeth II while she is receiving tributes from others like Rockstar Games while others argued over the legitimacy of his TikTok ban. When Hasan Piker will be allowed to visit TikTok again remains to be seen.
