GTA Online Halloween Surprise 2021

Although Halloween is still a few weeks away, some GTA Online content to celebrate the occasion has begun to surface. So there you have it, this is all you need to know.

Rockstar Games, like many other multiplayer games, will allow users to celebrate real-world holidays within the virtual world of GTA Online. Christmas celebrations have been outstanding, and there is generally plenty of fun to be had during Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Independence Day as well. Halloween is another holiday for which players can expect new content, even if it isn’t as game-changing as Christmas, and this year appears to be no exception, as some clues have begun to emerge.

Now, while Halloween may fall on October 31st, that date falls on a Sunday in 2021, which throws a wrench in the works when it comes to a GTA online update.

The actual Halloween Surprise update, as in prior years, will go online a few days before the big day, and will most likely coincide with the weekly Thursday updates. That indicates the new content will most likely be released on Thursday, October 28th, and will likely last for at least a week. Given the success of last year’s event, which lasted two weeks and ended on November 16, Rockstar may do something similar this year.

The reappearance of the Peyote Plants has been the main event for Halloween Surprise for the previous two years. Players can eat one and transform into an animal at random, which is entertaining. This year, however, something else may be in store. In late August, monkeypolice188 reported that a random in-game encounter in Paleto will be inspired by the Fiery Fury scene from the film Christine, with a Tornado Custom replacing the iconic horror automobile.

In terms of potential new vehicles, Rockstar hasn’t released a new vehicle in the Halloween update since the Western Rampant Rocket was released in 2019.
