Genshin Impact Players Say That Dungeons Need Changes

As One-Time Domains and Spiral Abyss continue to disappoint, Genshin Impact players want miHoYo to introduce better dungeons.

The absence of end-game content in Genshin Impact is proving to be a problem for many players, particularly those who have completed the main story and side quests. In fact, once these two areas are completed, there is really nothing else to do in Tevyat.

While farming for the greatest Artifacts and fighting enemies for vital Ascension materials may keep you occupied for a few hours, it isn’t the end-game grind that Genshin Impact fans were hoping for.

It’s been a year since Genshin Impact was released, and players are still pleading with miHoYo to introduce more challenging content. Grinding Domains and completing the same daily missions might become monotonous after a while, especially if the next release is months away. Genshin Impact offers mini-dungeons in addition to the normal Domains found throughout Teyvat. Unlike the game’s regular Domains, these One-Time dungeons require players to solve riddles, fight enemy-infested chambers, and even use their gliders to accomplish certain goals.

The Domain of the Wayward Path, for example, requires players to use a Geo character to activate five pillars in order to accomplish the goal. However, when one pillar is engaged, the status of the two adjacent pillars is likewise changed. It’s a simple challenge that can be completed in a short amount of time, but it does hint at what future dungeon content can look like. The vast bulk of these dungeons, unfortunately, center around killing the same enemy mobs.

We’ll have to wait to see if the developers improve Genshin Impact’s end-game content in the 2.3 and 2.4 updates.
