Free Showcase Of Tech Theaters

Amazon’s gaming platform Twitch is growing in popularity. It’s new and popular streaming app is a way for the fans to watch their favorite gamers play. It has also become a new way for personalities to promote things.

The Louisiana Tech Theater School Theater Showcase will be having a free showcase that will start on Twitch this Tuesday October 27 up until Friday October 30. It will be held at 7:30 online.

The showcase will represent the work of Louisiana students. The theater is open for everyone that is seeing struggles and success. Everyone is welcome to share their experiences, arts, and processes. Additionally, according to the Director of the show Mark Gin, the show is our solution to the current pandemic. He claimed that there are many performers in drama schools now and so he therefore created an opportunity for the performers in the department to develop their skills into the showcase.

There will be 10 plays and each performance will last up to 90 minutes. This showcase project will be led by Andrey Ray. He is a part time instructor and a 2010 MA graduate as a professional actor, fight director, teacher and motion capture artist.
