Esfand Ends Up In Hospital

Esfand, a prominent Twitch streamer and OTK co-founder, had to go to the hospital for an injury after only one day in South Korea.

Only a few weeks ago, OTK fans were informed that some members, including Mizkif, Esfand, and Emiru, as well as 100 Thieves streamer AustinShow, would travel to South Korea. The content began on May 3rd, when a group of streamers began roving the streets of Seoul from sunrise until sunset. The program was abruptly interrupted after many hours of broadcasting. Esfand had chipped a bone in his thumb while playing against an arcade game, according to later revelations. 

Esfand might need a few days away from the camera after his hospital visit, according to Mizkif, because doctors weren’t sure if he’d need surgery. 

Mizkif and Esfand were competing in an arcade game to see who could throw the most powerful punch. According to AustinShow, Esfand made a critical miscalculation that led to his hospitalization.  

Austin said; “He punches up with an open fist and immediately starts grabbing his thumb. Next thing you know, we’re in a taxi to a Korean hospital.” 

Esfand shared an image of his x-ray with supporters on Twitter, adding “still gladiator” in reference to his current World of Warcraft PvP level. Though many assumed Esfand would need some time to recover, the streamer rebounded back quickly, even hosting the live later that night while continuing to roam Seoul.
