DrDisRespect Loses Twitch Partnership

Guy Beahm aka DrDisrespect has seemingly found his success on the YouTube platform resulting from his Twitch ban. His mysterious Twitch ban has been controversial for the past few months as DrDisRespect has stated that Twitch has still not given a specific reason as to why he was banned from the platform. He has quickly become popular on YouTube since his move and he has broken quite a few viewership records as well.

The mysterious ban still affects his streaming career. There was talk that Twitch streamers Nadeshot, Snoop Dogg and Crimsix were at risk of getting banned on the platform because of featuring DrDisRespect on their channels, when according to the Twitch guidelines, a twitch streamer can not stream with someone who is already banned on the platform. The Twitch star Shroud recently spoke about that, explaining that using DrDisRespect’s skin at the Rogue Company game might lead to a Twitch ban.

In one of Doc’s recent streams he spoke about the issue explaining that he’s no longer a COD partner. Many have speculated that Activision’s treatment of the Doc might have a lot to do with his Twitch ban. DrDisRespect stated that the treatment is extremely surprising considering that it has been almost five years since he has been streaming COD games. Obviously, DrDisRespect was genuinely affected by Activision’s treatment of him.
