Disguised Toast’s Take On How To Kickstart Livestreaming

Twitch streamer Jeremy “Disguised Toast” offered his opinion on how individuals should begin their livestreaming careers on Twitch during a recent livestream.

Disguised Toast said that people shouldn’t anticipate to start a streaming career by simply “pressing the streaming button” while he and other internet personalities played the life simulation game Dinkum. Instead, they should concentrate on developing a presence on other media channels or mastering a particular game to an amazing level. Jeremy finally made it back to America after extended his stay in Tokyo, Japan, where he joined forces with other content creators to conduct a gaming stream.

The OfflineTV member gave advice on how people should begin their Twitch streaming careers while he was busy farming his way through Dinkum and creating the ideal island, saying: “Your streaming career will never ever start with you pressing the stream button. Ever! I promise you, your streaming career will not start with you pressing the stream button.”

After a little pause, Jeremy made a snarky jab at Tyler “Ninja’s” streaming lesson. For some background, on July 31 YouTuber Drew Gooden signed up for and rated the Fortnite sensation’s masterclass on how to become a streamer. The latter then viciously criticized the former, claiming that “it had ruined his life.”

Toast cited the same manual when he said Ninja was “lying.” He stated: “I know you paid 200 bucks for Ninja to tell you that, he’s lying to you. Ninja is a liar!”

Jeremy highlighted the perfect route for someone to take in order to become a Twitch streamer after getting beyond the ironic remarks. He advised aspiring streamers to either create channels on sites like YouTube or TikTok, or to become “really good” at a game they enjoy: “Your streaming career starts with either you starting a YouTube channel, you starting a TikTok channel, or you being really good at a game of your choosing.”

The discussion on the subject was concluded when Jeremy mentioned: “Once you are good at either of those things and what you want is fine, then you can start streaming.”
