Controversial Disguised Toast Takes On Small Streamers

Canadian YouTuber and Popular Twitch Streamer Jeremy Wang AKA Disguised Toast said during his recent live stream that OfflineTV does not invite small time streamers because they are “generally bad”.

Disguised Toast was asked by one of his viewers why they were not inviting “small streamers” to OTV servers. He replied by saying that OTV is not for “small streamers” and not doing a “charity”. He added by saying that small streamers are generally bad and small because they are “bad”.

Toast’s comment became controversial. He explained by saying that he has been receiving lots of messages from small streamers trying to get on the servers and said that he cannot look at everyone’s streams to recognize who has the “potential”.

His comments were not well received as the majority of the community said to him that “not all streamers are bad”. Disguised furthermore explained his take and said that instead of saying that small streamers are bad he just wanted to say that bad streamers are generally “small”.

He was criticized by his comment and take on “small streamers” saying that he won’t invite streamers purely based on the fact that they are small and “Go fuck yourself, This isn’t a charity” and went on by saying that he actually would love to give small “good” streamers a chance to fulfill their potential and said that they aren’t getting chance because of the fact that they are small butthey are getting it because they are good and potential.

Many called him out and questioned him because of his audacity to go take on small streamers and said that it was such a bad take. Some said that he should know how hard it is to grow on a site like Twitch and said that it makes him only look like an asshole.

Some also said that a huge amount of luck is mostly involved in a streamer’s popularity. Most people are criticizing him and some are still supporting him. Though some said that he has a point, his initial comment didn’t come out in an ideal manner and led to criticism from the people in the community and the entire internet.
