Destiny Responds to Amouranth’s Accusations

The Hot tub streams on twitch have suddenly become the bone of contention among the streamers and gaining millions of viewers on Twitch as a plethora of creators on the platform have been streaming in bathing suits and hot tubs lately. These streams have been recently gaining a massive amount of attention that includes support and criticism equally with some fans and streamers have berated the company for allowing this trend to continue on their platform while many of them also believe that these streams changed the perception of Twitch in the eyes of the viewers. Popular hot tub streamer Amouranth has recently talked about stating that Twitch shouldn’t ban this trend just because of the possibility of a teenager attempting to do it.

Because of this, Twitch streamer Destiny went on to react to Amouranth’s claims during one of his recent live broadcasts. During the stream, Destiny explained that the litmus test was meant to prove why such content is harmful to the platform. He went on to state that it didn’t raise the question about a certain meta being problematic for an underage creator. But he noted that fans asked these questions because of the consequences involved in teenage streamers attempting this trend.

Then he explained why the comparison isn’t justified as he continued by saying that it would be weird for a minor to be involved in any kind of sexual innuendos. Here’s what he says during the stream; “The 13-year-old litmus test isn’t about whether a 13-year-old can do something. It’s about why they wouldn’t be able to do something. That’s the point of the Litmus test. A 13-year-old sitting in a hot tub in a huge boober bikini would feel weird because it’s sexual content. That type of sexual content is supposed to be against the Twitch TOS.”
