CouRage & Valkyrae Compare YouTube and Twitch

YouTuber and former Twitch Streamer Valkyrae discussed with her fellow streamer Jack Dunlop AKA CouRage the problems with streaming on YouTube.

During TrainwrecksTV Podcast, he asked two YouTubers Valkyrae and CouRage how’s their life now in YouTube and how is it as their streaming platform. The duo’s response was unsettling and shocking.

Majority of the streamers on YouTube have been complaining and can’t help themselves comparing the service they experience while on Twitch. Many streamers on YouTube have spoken about the issues they’ve been experiencing. Valkyrae and CouRage is one of the streamers on YouTube who has been complaining and felt that YouTube streaming lacked many things.

Both of their contracts to YouTube will soon come to an end and it seems that they will switch back to Twitch because of the issues they’ve been encountering while on YouTube.

During Trainwreck’s Podcast, he asked Valkyrae and CouRage about what difference they visibly notice between Twitch chat and YouTube chat. Valkyrae answered first and said that the culture and that YouTube have no emote culture like Twitch, she even said that there’s no host and that YouTube hardly has a directory. CouRage followed up her statement saying that he misses the moderation tools on Twitch. He even compared him and Valkyrae as an island whenever they’re streaming because streaming on YouTube felt like it.

CouRage and Valkyrae kept on comparing the two streaming platforms and Valkyrae even said that YouTube is trying its best to improve their service. She even admits that it is still in the fetus stage and there’s still a lot more to do before they reach Twitch level.

As of now, there’s still no statement or comments about them switching but their continuous comparison to Twitch and YouTube felt like they wanted to.
