Beddle Talks About Stalker

The frightening tactics that stalkers use to find out where content creators live have been exposed by a Twitch streamer, and it’s terrifying. 

Stalkers have become a huge issue for many Twitch stars, especially since the introduction of IRL streams, which might reveal a streamer’s location. The decision to have an IRL stream for streamer ‘Beddle’ proved to be crucial, as a stalker was able to determine her exact location and divulge it to her in DMs. 

During an April Twitch broadcast, Beddle detailed how her stalker tracked her down, as well as the strategies he used to track down other innocent streamers. 

Beddle claims that she began her IRL broadcast some time ago, when she was living in a different house. Her stalker paid attention to things like road signs while she was out and about, tracking them to find out where she lived. Beddle revealed; “Someone sent me a DM and said ‘I know where you live.’ So, I didn’t reply back, and then he sent me a message explaining how he tracked other streamers.”

Beddle claimed that her stalker did the same thing to others, but was much more extreme in how he targeted their residences, despite the fact that they all lived in large apartment buildings. She added; “When someone didn’t want to show which floor they were living on, the streamer was just walking downstairs and he counted the stairs, how many stairs she walked on. He figured out which floor she was living on. He said that to me, so I was freaked out.”

Hopefully, Beddle’s statements may serve as a warning to others about the lengths to which stalkers will go to learn where they reside, allowing them to take extra measures when IRL broadcasting in the future.
