President Barack Obama Challenged to Chess Match

The streamers of the Twitch gaming platform have been looking for a way to capitalise on the intersection between gaming and politics. Just like US congresswoman AOC who recently collaborated with other streamers to promote voting. They reached over 439,000 viewership becoming one of the biggest streams in the history of Twitch.

Twitch streamer Hikaru Nakamura also decided to challenge the former US President Barack Obama to a chess match. Hikaru Nakamura recently signed with TSM and he is a chess grandmaster. The challenge is all about raising funds for Joe Biden’s Victory Fund. The Joe Biden Victory Fund is a joint fundraising committee for the Democratic candidate searching to overtake Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential elections.

The chess grandmaster came into Twitter and tweeted out; “Hey Barack Obama – I see AOC on Twitch tonight doing a promotion for voting and playing Among Us with some huge streamers. Any chance you’d be interested in a chess match to raise funds for the Joe Biden Victory Fund and act blue? Let me know, my dms are open”.
