The Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) was streamed live and watched by many fans worldwide. At the end of the coverage of the tournament, they announced that the next Fortnite Champion Series will be a Solos tournament. This announcement surprised some of the Fortnite fans and streamers, including Fortnite caster and analyst Ballatw.

“After the FNCS solos is completed, I’m dropping the biggest blog on why Solos should not be played for major events”, Twitch streamer Ballatw tweeted out, followed by another tweet announcing that he will not be a part of the upcoming FNCS broadcast stating; “It’s here. My blog about why I believe solos should be relegated as a focus point of competitive Fortnite. They hold a special place in our hearts, and have given us a crazy bit of excitement/fun”.

Ballatw discussed in his blog post about the viewing experience of following 100 individual entities during a tournament and how it is comprehensively harder than doing the same for trios, or even duos tournaments.
