Asmongold Takes a Week-Long Break

Twitch streamer and a popular world of warcraft streamer on Twitch, Asmongold has announced that he will be taking a week-long break from streaming on Twitch and he also asks his fans to not ask and speculate about the reason for his decision.

Asmongold is undoubtedly one of the most popular streamers on Twitch and is beloved by many members of the World of Warcraft community. With over 2.4 million followers and over 19,000 active subscribers on Twitch, Asmongold has a huge community that tunes into every single one of his streams. Earlier this August, he revealed that a big part of him wants to quit streaming on Twitch after he revealed that it was becoming unenjoyable for him.

Now, on his most recent twitter post, Twitch streamer Asmongold did announce that he would be taking a week-long break from the streaming platform. He stated that while he’s unsure what is wrong with him, he said that he feels weird about streaming.

He proclaimed not to know why he feels this way, adding that “it doesn’t make logical sense”. He announced that he is going to take a week-long break for personal reasons in order to “recalibrate” himself. While he didn’t share any details on why he’d made the decision to take some time off, he did reveal that it was a personal matter that he needs to sort out on his own. He finished off his tweet as he wished his community well and added that he was just trying to be the best version of himself for them.

Despite the news that he’d be stepping away from the platform for a short period of time, Asmongold’s community showed an overwhelming amount of support in the thread. Hopefully, Asmongold will return to streaming feeling recharged and ready for more epic adventures in Azeroth and that he takes a most well-deserved break from streaming.
