Asmongold Expresses Dissatisfaction

Asmongold is one of the world’s most popular Twitch streamers. He has previously referred to the game as dog sh*t but he continues to play it.

Asmongold recently expressed his dissatisfaction with Activision Blizzard’s decision to remove sex jokes from the game. The move comes after the developers of World of Warcraft were sued in court last month.

What did Asmongold have to say about it?

The game’s creators have begun removing explicit content from the game. There are two achievement titles related to sex jokes in this list.

World of Warcraft developers, according to Asmongold, are weird and socially maladjusted.

“As a result, these people regard sexual jokes as harassment or abuse, and they are removing them on that basis.”

The move to censor in-game content has not been well received by World of Warcraft players. Blizzard should remove toxicity from the game and not censor its content, according to the community.

Asmongold mocked the game for changing content back in September. The move, he said, was stupid and reductive.

Asmongold has previously referred to the game as dogsh*t after being underwhelmed by the most recent patch. He also said that the World of Warcraft gaming community was trash and that he had stopped enjoying it.

What should be done?

Activision Blizzard, the company behind World of Warcraft, has also set up a $18 million fund to settle any claims of harassment or discrimination.

More of these measures, rather than censorship of game content, are desired by the WoW community.

Instead of World of Warcraft, Asmongold preferred the Final Fantasy XIV Online community. All of this does not, however, imply that Asmongold has abandoned World of Warcraft.
