Arcadum To Return

After many accusations of grooming and manipulation were leveled against him by several members of the D&D community, including Momo, Folkana, Uziri Mia, and RediculousStreams, Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) streamer, Jeremy “Arcadum” Black returned to Twitch after a nearly 2-month absence.

Members of the greater Twitch and D&D communities reacted angrily to his return, particularly when he appeared to carry on as if nothing had happened.

During Arcadum’s Twitch stream on October 13th, he addresses what he was going through and what his plan for the future was. Arcadum stated that the surge of supportive messages he received personally from some of his followers influenced his choice to return to Twitch.

He stated that he would not be restarting the D&D streams and that he would require “a lot more time” before he could do so. Arcadum also stated that he will no longer be a part of CallousRow Roleplay.

Arcadum’s chat was set to “emote only” mode during this time, which was bombarded with “nay” emotes, presumably in protest of what Arcadum was saying.

Many Twitch viewers were upset, and they voiced their frustrations on Reddit as well.

Arcadum also released a PasteBin in which he addressed his hiatus in a short manner that showed no regret for what he allegedly committed.

Arcadum’s reappearance was nicely summed up by one Reddit user, who said: “I’ve never seen people be able to show hatred like that through ’emote only’. Combined with his awkward talking, it hits that sweet spot of Michael Scott level of cringe. The lack of shame is off the charts.”
