AOC Planning to Stream Again

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka AOC is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district since 2019. She recently created a Twitch account channel streaming together with popular streamers such as Pokimane, DisguisedToast and many more. They streamed in order to introduce voting to young viewers all over the world. It was an incredible success. AOC’s Twitch channel quickly gathered 724,000 followers. Their live broadcast broke some of Twitch’s records.

A Twitch spokesperson confirmed to Polygon that she quickly racked up viewers, reaching a peak concurrent viewer count of 435,000. AOC’s debut Among Us stream is now within the top 5 most viewed individual streams in Twitch’s history. Due to its success, some are asking AOC to stream again on Twitch. Many were delighted by AOC’s announcement that she will be streaming again on Twitch, possibly this week. She answered one of the fans’ questions and responded; “I’ll do it again soon, but I need a nap. Maybe this week or next”.

One of the biggest twitch streamers Imane Anys aka Pokimane also responded to AOC on Twitter and stated; “I’ll be here anytime you need me ma’am”. AOC replied; “League duo bot?! Except I haven’t played in months I’m gonna be real bad. Maybe Among Us again for a bit”. The game that she will be streaming soon was still being debated. Although her first ever stream was the popular game Among Us, she’s also a keen League of Legends player and so there is also a possibility for LoL.
