Amouranth’s Twitch Ban Removed

Twitch streamer Kaitlyn Siragusa famously known online as Amouranth has her twitch ban lifted recently after 72 hours of being banned because of the controversial new ASMR trend. Amouranth has been one of the most popular female twitch streamers on the platform being the second most followed female streamer next to pokimane.

She has now gained more than 3 million followers on her twitch channel where she streams a variety of contents. Amouranth is also known for doing hot tub streams earlier this year but when a new category has released, the hot tub meta has died down causing for her to jump into the new ASMR trend that involves around broadcasters performing a range of “services,” including licking their microphones suggestively, writing the names of donors/new subscribers on their bodies, and wearing the infamous “TikTok” leggings.

Amouranth together with her fellow hot tub streamer indiefoxx has been banned on June 19th after kick starting the “ASMR meta”. While she didn’t clarify what really causes the ban, it’s likely Twitch banned the creators for breaking their sexually suggestive content policy and the other theory is that she has been banned after allegedly being mass reported.

Now, after three days, their ban has been lifted allowing Amouranth and indiefoxx to freely stream on Twitch once again. As the tweets suggest, Amouranth and Indiefoxx are expected to be live on the platform from today. While speculation initially suggested that both might be at the receiving end of longer suspensions, Twitch might instead come under scrutiny for unbanning the two so quickly.
