Amouranth Might Lose $500k Per Year

Popular hot tub twitch streamer Kaitlyn Siragusa aka Amouranth shocked her fans and followers after she announced that twitch suspended the advertising on her channel without giving a specific reason or even warning. Because of this, some assumed that this twitch decided was taken as a result of amouranth’s content including the now very controversial hot tub streams where she was sitting in an inflatable pool while wearing a bikini.

Twitch recently announced that they have been “monitoring” the hot tub streams closely, that’s why some believe that this type of content of twitch streamer Amouranth is the reason as to why twitch suspended her twitch ads. However, on Amouranth’s side, the situation may cause her to lose a significant amount of income. According to Amouranth herself as she commented on a Reddit thread about her announcement, an average month of ad revenue on Twitch for her was around $35,000 – $40,000. That only means that over an entire year of streaming, this could amount to as much as $480,000 from ads alone and she might lose it due to the current situation.

While there are still other ways in which Amouranth can monetize her Twitch content, including paid subscriptions, donations, bits, and sponsored streams, the loss of advertising is still a big loss for her and her channel. The wider Twitch community has also weighed in on what was a very surprising decision, and something that other streamers are now in fear of happening to them too.
