Amouranth IRL Streams

Streamer and influencer Amouranth addressed why she decided to build a career out of providing suggestive content on social platforms during a recent interview with Rolling Stone on Twitch.

She stated when asked how she came to the point where she was benefiting off of others sexualizing her through her OnlyFans account; “even before I started streaming, I realized guys would sexualize girls just out and about in public, and you aren’t able to do anything about it. So if guys are gonna do this to you, you might as well make the bag if you’re comfortable doing that.”

She also recounted having horrible situations with men photographing her without her permission while she was doing IRL streams.

She added; “In selfie mode, I see guys taking behind me pictures when I’m grabbing something on the lower shelf, and they don’t realize I’m streaming. It’s really creepy. [OnlyFans is] a much safer environment, and you get well compensated for it. It feels like you’re taking the power back rather than being a victim.”

Amouranth is a divisive figure on Twitch, having been banned multiple times throughout the years. Despite this, her success continues to rise. This year, she aims to broaden her content, leave OnlyFans, and start her own “e-girl” talent agency. She’s also started arranging Twitch events, such as the Streamer Royale event on May 28, where big-name streamers competed in various challenges.
