Among Us Isn’t Dead

Rachel Hofstetter, commonly known online as Valkyrae, recently commented into the game Among Us regarding its popularity during an episode of The CouRage and Nadeshot Show on February 3rd. During the stream, Nadeshot asked Valkyrae regarding the state of Among Us.

Valyrae answered saying; “Surprisingly people are still enjoying it. There’s still views for it on YouTube. I definitely have the most viewers when I play Among Us on YouTube and the videos do really well.”

Valkyrae went on to explain that people still really enjoy the game because of the way people who play it and interact with each other. About being burnt out, Valkyrae emphasized that she’s personally not burnt out, however, she says that she wishes that the devs of Among Us would add more content faster because valkyrae feels that Among us is missing out on this wave of popularity by taking it so long to update.

She stated; “They have a new map coming… It’s taking a very long time, I’m actually surprised. I feel like they’re missing out on this wave of popularity by taking this long.”

Valyrae has risen in popularity since she started playing and streaming the game Among Us. Her consistent grind throughout the year helped her to overtake twitch streamer pokimane to become the most-watched female streamer of the year.
